I've been considering this for a long time now. From now on, the majority of my entries will be friends only, with only a fandom ones being public. Mostly, I just want to know whose reading this journal. So, if you feel like adding me, please just comment here. Right before I started making this post of joy (JOY!!!!), I deleted the pissy post I started this morning when I read the news post that 6A finally deigned to make, and now I'm simply basking in my renewed love for livejournal.

You know what's sad?

I get a lot of my gaming news from Penny Arcade. I think this goes hand in hand with my getting a lot of my real news from the Daily Show and Colbert Report. ;)

However the point of this is that I refreshed my friends page this morning, read the Penny Arcade comic, and holy shit there's a Starcraft 2!!!

OK, this is scarily accurate.

No matter how hard I try I can't find Cable/Deadpool slash! I've been looking for the past several days and there is almost none to be found! In fact, I have found a total of 6 Cable/Deadpool fics on the totality of the internet.

How is this even possible? Have the fangirls deserted me in my time of need? This comic cries out to be slashed people! See! . . . OK, that's totally out of context, but even in context it's terribly slashy, just in a different way! Nate "bodyslided by two" them back to where it all began, in hopes of showing Deadpool the error of his ways! . . . Right, then.


Still, I'm very upset with fandom right now. See, this is my upset face - ;(


If anyone can find any Cable/Deadpool fics, I will love them forever and bake them many e-orange-cornmuffins!

Joss isn't going to do Wonder Woman! Gah!

Why?! Why?!

Well, I've read his comments on it, so I've heard what he said, but how in the world could any studio just not want to do Joss' version of Wonder Woman. He's Joss Mother-Frakking Whedon! Do they have a better possibility than that? Do they have any one else they think can pull of Wonder Woman's iconic status?

Alright, I've refreshed the battlestar wiki many a time, and yet no one has updated the survivor count page yet! I think I shall be forced to create an account there, because everyone else has failed. FAILED, I tell you!

xkcd did a comic on the wonders of wikipedia in which it was implied that he went from an article on "Tacoma Narrows Bridge" to "Lesbianism in Erotica" (amoung other things) simply by clicking the inner links (going first either to "Structural Collapse," or "Suspension Bridge").

pps: Alright, I've been trying for a while now, and I can't narrow it down past 11 (that's a tenth of my icons uploaded! you should be proud I got it that low!), so I'm going with the BSG one, because last nights Battlestar was fantastic!

ppps: Does it seem weird to anyone else that I use the Ninth doctor's "fantastic" to describe BSG? 'Cause now I'm trying to envision the ninth doctor watching BSG and it's just not coming. Now I could see Mickey watching it, though. . . . ::trails off into strange fangirlish thoughts.::

Yay for new Supernatural! As a matter of fact YAY!! for new Supernatural! I <3 you so. I really, really do. And this episode was freaking fantastic, with suspensful bear hugging moments, great non-chick-flick-moments, and some new info! Although, seriously, ( spoilers lie within! )

In a more general supernatural vein, does anyone have any theories as to why ( actually I just realized this contains season early 2 spoilers, so I'm giving it an lj-cut too )


PS: Also, at this very moment, I am watching SPN music vids on my TV by way of streaming them to my Wii! This is so awesome!

That's right. This is the "secret snaps cup/love your flist meme" for those who understand that there somethings you don't do, and open displays of affection are amoung them. . . . Or those of us who just enjoy horsing around and hitting each other on the head.

I just realized that I never did tell you the answers to the fandom meme I posted a bit back! Just so you remember the instructions were as follows:

Post a list of up to 20 books/movies/anime/TV shows/video games/etc. that you've had an obsessive fannish love of at some time in your life. Then have your friends list guess your favourite character from each item.

Of course, I couldn't choose just 20, so I posted 21. Here they are with their respective favorite characters.

Hee! I do notice two trends in my favorites: they seem to mostly be the intelligent snarky ones or the intelligent shy nerdy ones. They're a few others but they all seem to have some combination of the characteristics: intelligent, snarky, shy, and nerdy. . . . I suppose this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, but still.

Alright, so after making some fun anon. comments here I figure it's about time that I join the fray.
